For the Westfield Days at Westfield Centro in Oberhausen, we wanted to push the boundaries of the traditional fashion show. Together with team Iventos and our client, we envisioned an event that connected brands in an inspiring, fresh way, inviting visitors to reimagine personal style by creatively combining collections. A daring concept was born: the Mix and Match Fashion Show!
The Mix & Match concept entails a fashion production where looks across brands are styled for everyday inspiration. Where traditional fashion content accommodating multiple brands will style looks per brand individually, taking into account their concepts for the collections and the season, we combined pieces from the collections of different brands to create looks that tell a unified story. To do this, we thought of accessible, real-life themes—like a look suitable for working out or for going to the office—to make the fashion show experience unique and most of all relatable. Our involvement in ideation, event organization, and styling ensured that every brand shone, creating an engaging experience for spectators where different brands with different styles complemented each other.
Mix & Match magic
The Centro Westfield Days were the perfect playground for the Mix and Match concept. As a shopping centre, Centro was challenged to bring their different brands together in one unified fashion show. Mix and Match is the perfect way to ensure all brands get a showcase and shoppers get a great impression of the over-all trends of the season. We carefully curated ensembles, combining pieces from various brands into wearable, cohesive looks. Coming up with themes, shopping the stores for the pieces shown in the show and of course the final styling on carefully selected models to ensure the best fit and the most impactful look. The entire experience was designed to feel both aspirational and achievable, translating the catwalk into daily style moments.
A fresh concept for everyday style
At SESSIBON, our focus is on creating elevating experiences through content and events that resonate with the community and make an actual impact. Our Mix & Match concept doesn’t just highlight fashion; it provides an accessible narrative that bridged diverse brands and collections. This approach demonstrates how individual style and versatility could blend seamlessly, inspiring visitors to think outside the box when it comes to their own wardrobe. Our concept motivated people to visit different stores and browse collections that wouldn’t normally be top-of-mind, because the Mix and Match concept showed them that even items outside their comfort zone or go-to brands can create looks that suit them. And that’s exactly what we do best – move people!

From concept to execution, we delivered a complete, out-of-the-box experience combining eye-catching visuals, trend-driven content, and a seamlessly produced fashion show. With lookbooks, model styling, and a powerful brand narrative, we brought the Mix and Match concept to life for Westfield Centro, inspiring visitors to explore and elevate their personal style.
